Solid Gold

You are solid gold girls. Thank you.

Aw Dawnie. You are a mad woman and we love you.

Your knitting is very unusual Ellen.  VERY unusual.

Anne Anne Anne - what about that green and white blanket from 1975?

OK OK.  So this is pretty damn noice too.  How old is she?  Eight?  Think you might make it.  Know you will.

Jasmine.  Jas.  Jassy.

This is Jas's first ever knit.  Can you believe that?  I can't believe it.  I reckon you must have knitted in another life.

That is damn fine knitting.

Thank you for being a most lovely guest at our knitwits.

Oh well just look at Miss Glamour Puss with her Jo Sharp shoulder warmer thingy (what IS it called?).

Anyway it is very very beautiful and deserves finishing.  Soon.

And one more for good cheer.

Now I can't for the life of me remember why I didn't take a photo of Sue this last Sunday get together so here she is in all her fabulousness, from Xmas in July.

Well that's us this month.

Oh not quite.

I was there too in my new purple cotton top knitted in the round on two circular needles.  No seams.  Not a one.

Anne has been knitting!

The jumper is for one of my cousins kids who is 9 months old. I bought cute little silver teddy bear buttons for the back.

I knitted it because one has to have a project to be able to go to knit wits, so hence the idea.

I have knitted this pattern before, so is an oldy but a goody!!!!!
Anne.

Sitting pretty in Paris, knitting for Nadia!

A friend, a very dear friend, who loves chunky knit but doesn't do it, asked very sweetly, while I was in Paris, if I would please, please create something delicious from her two skeins of chunky wool. So...I did. I think.

She loved it anyway and so did the bear.

Traitor...

I don't like to think of myself in this way but I may well be accused of treachery with this post. Knitting is still my number one love girls...but you have to agree these little jar covers are too cute to say no to.
Please forgive me....
